若松宏樹（監督）

東京都立大学で教育学・心理学を学ぶが、映画監督を目指しアメリカに留学。アメリカ、カリフォルニア州にある大学院、 Chapman University の映画制作学科、監督専攻で MFA を取得。卒業制作の SF 短編映画「Blue」は京都国際映画祭、 Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival, Orlando Film Festival など国内外の映画祭で公式上映される。 現在、新作映画『HAKONIWA』の製作準備中。

「BLUE」

数百年以上続く停滞した地下社会で、プロパガンダアーティスとのショウは閉塞感をかかえ暮らしていた。ある日、彼は不思議な青い花を持つ謎の少女マナと出会う。地上が浄化しつつあることを知った彼らは、危険を顧みず一緒に空を目指して旅に出ることを決意する。

QUESTIONNAIRE

1.この映画を撮ったきっかけはなんですか？

アメリカに留学していた事があり、その時通っていた大学院の卒業制作として作った作品が「BLUE」です。

2.影響を受けた作品・監督はいますか？

宮崎駿監督の「ラピュタ」と「ナウシカ」はとても好きで、何度も何度も見ていました。
あんな作り込まれたSFやファンタジーの世界観を映画で作ることが夢です！

3.普段、どんな時にアイディアが生まれますか？

アイディアが浮かぶのは寝る前とか寝ているときが多いかもしれません。
あと、音楽を聴いている時、本を読んでいる時もアイディアは生まれます！

4.作品へのこだわりがあれば教えてください。

作品づくりでこだわっている事は、その世界にいる人達の心情とか生活をリアルに描く事です。
SFだからこそその中に住んでいる人達を生き生きと描きたいです！

5.今回の作品で一番苦労した点を教えて下さい。

統一した世界観をつくりだす事にとても苦労しました。
一つの世界をつくるには、社会や政治の勉強もしないといけないし、小道具のデザインや未来の食べ物のアイディアを練ることにも苦労しました！

6.今後どの様な作品を作っていきたいですか

今後もすこし変わった想像力をかきたてるような世界観をつくっていきたいです！
SFやファンタジー、記憶やパラレルワールドなどワクワクする作品をつくりたいです。

７.撮影現場について、スタッフ・キャストとのコミュニケーションはどのようにとっていますか？

みんなで一緒につくりあげたいので、意見やアドバイス、アイディアをできるだけ聞ける環境にすることを目指しています！

8.壁にぶつかった時の乗り越え方を教えて下さい。

まずは一度寝たり、リラックスして本当に失うものは何かとか、なにか新しい方向性はないかなど落ち着いて考えるようにしています。
人生一度きりなので楽しまなきゃと自分に言い聞かせます！笑
